Jessica is a registered psychologist with AHPRA. Jessica works with adolescents (12+) and adults. She works across various psychological difficulties (depression, anxiety, PTSD/trauma, personality disorders, self-esteem issues, and many others) and various psychological therapies (including CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness). Jessica has experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults. She is especially interested in mental health issues and emotional wellbeing among those who may be new in the country, or feeling marginalised in the community one way or another. She obtained her honours degree in psychology at Deakin University and post-graduate training in clinical psychology at the University of Canberra. She is working towards completing her PhD on the role of episodic future thinking (people’s ability to imagine themselves in a personal future event) in anxiety.

Jessica is an LGBTQIAP+ affirmative therapist. She feels honoured to be part of the journey of those who courageously seeking support to resolve issues they hold dear to their hearts. Jessica enjoys music, reading, experimenting wth cooking, cultural experiences, being in the nature, being a pretend painter/poet, striving up a conversation with a stranger (sometimes). She has recently taken on a martial art class to learn to be more coordinated.

Fees & Days of Work

Jessica works Saturdays. The cost of a 50-minute consultation with Jess on a Saturday is $210.00. If referred by a G.P. along with a Mental Health Care Plan, or by a psychiatrist, you will receive a rebate of $88.25 per session via Medicare. Up to 20 Medicare-rebated sessions can be claimed per calendar year. Alternatively, you may wish to claim the consultation fee under private health cover, NDIS, WorkCover, or TAC, if these options are available to you.
