Kefu is a registered psychologist with experience working with adults, youth and families. He is an LGBTQIAP+ friendly practitioner and adopts a collaborative, non-judgemental, and empathetic approach to working with clients. Kefu has experience treating a variety of problems. His areas of interest include depression, anxiety, substance-related issues, and trauma.

Kefu received supervised training in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-focused CBT. He has also undertaken further training and conducted program evaluation in Dialectical-Behavioural Therapy (DBT). He is passionate with an eclectic approach that is tailored based on individual needs and empirical evidence.

Fees & Days of Work

Kefu works Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The cost of a 50-minute consultation with Kefu is $195.00. If referred by a G.P. along with a Mental Health Care Plan, or by a psychiatrist, you will receive a rebate of $88.25 per session via Medicare. Up to 20 Medicare-rebated sessions can be claimed per calendar year. Alternatively, you may wish to claim the consultation fee under private health cover, NDIS, WorkCover, or TAC, if these options are available to you.
